General History: Alec Von Ince was born in a middle class family, and raised was raised by his noble english mother, and his more than odd and not so english father. Over the years, three more were introduced into the family. When Alec came of age, he left for the Americas in his late twenties. Foiling the families wishes for him to merry a lady.
Alec traveled to the tropical islands, and was branded as a privateer to the queen. He rose in power, learning true skills. And was briefly allowed to oversee the ship, by his captain. His skill at commanding was revealed, as he plundered French ships, and got many riches in return. Alec went back to port, and had a new ship built using all of his new wealth. He built it to be swift enough to practically disappear and reappear. And to be quiet enough to be undetected at night until just a hundred feet away. The ship coming with eight four-man boats, and two eight-man ones. Two silent like their mother ship. The sails narrowed and curved in smaller pieces than other ships, drawing in speed, but also allowing them to be less seeable from a distance. The ship being slimmer than others—too, so that it would be less visible from a distance—allowing room for four stacks of cannons. Leaving the larger than usual space underwater for massive amounts of rowers. Those who knew about the ship, knew to search for it by looking from under the surface of the water.
During a long period of attacking, Alec lost his right eye, and later his right hand. And after many years of plundering, and enjoying his job, Alec decided—instead of taking the four fifths left of his loot for himself—he returned to England, and presented them to the queen, along with many other treasures and spices. He was rewarded, and given the authority to oversee command on a new colony on the Bermuda Islands. The colony grew with his guidance, and Alec made many powerful friends. After years of development, and returns to England, Alec lost his ship, the Invisible Hand, during a trip near Bermuda.
Alec returned to London to request a new ship, but it took much time, and during that time he searched and recruited those he wanted for other plans he had. Once he spoke with the queen, he already arranged to have the Chinese Emperor build him the ship he wanted, so changed the plans for the London ship to be built differently from his previous. The Chinese made him a fast, light one, meant to be used in trips to far away lands, and a true danger as it held Chinese cannons on it. The British ship was far bulkier, meant to protect England from an attack. The Chinese one was built in a hydrodynamic way that only the their people knew how to make, and it’s members found shooting flames and flares worked as a very dangerous attack strategy on top of the cannons. Though there had been plans to name it the Invisible Hand Mark II, this could not be done, as no one could know it was Alec’s ship. It was instead named ‘The Predator’ after the admiral’s nickname, which only Alec’s pirate followers knew, and no one else would make the connection, and also named it because of it’s dangerous and swift ability. The slower, heavier British ship was named the Rook’s Cannon, after the chess move that involves losing the queen to win the game in a single move. It rarely moves, but mounts five stacks of cannons, gigantic sails, and can hold many people because of it’s size. Many live in there even at Harbor, while waiting for orders.

Overall personality: Alec has a strange, and utterly creepy social personality. He will openly threaten people, even if it makes people wonder about his plan, or loses their trust in him. His strange and insane plan, is his wish to destroy the British Empire entirely. Using French, Spaniards, and others he had held captive. As well as pirates he had trusted, and others he has bribed into the deal, he has an entire army awaiting his command across the world. He also made many more powerful and dangerous friends in Bermuda, and ten years ago made a secret deal with China. Bermuda alone could break free of the empire at his word. For years, since his early days commanding as a privateer, he has delighted in power and seemingly impossible opportunities. And he decided, like other world leaders before it, that Britains time had come. That the empire had reached it’s highest peek possible, thus meaning to him, it would have to start decreasing. He has his own knew plan of what will happen if the empire fell. For the members of other countries he had collected: more people, resources, and land for their countries, and their countries awarding themselfs as war heros. As well as several new countries, including a new country in the center of England which he would rule, choosing a non-biological heir.
Alec sees England as the shatter point of the British Empire, London as the shatter point of England, Buckingham Palace as the shatter point of London, and the queen as the shatter point of Buckingham Palace. Though he does see his plan as being this simple, he plans starting with many other takeovers across the world, with the Chinese ship, the Predator, to blame them on; keeping him away from being an outlaw just long enough. And using his privateers to close up communication long enough to isolate other parts of the empire while this occurred. And planning on using the Xanadu to close-up on British ships near England. Also having used people in Britain’s lower classes, from farmers to street urchins, to work in any small way to weaken places he needed for attack, without any really knowing it. Some of his deals have become stressed, however, as it has been ten years since his first plans to takedown the empire. However, these ten years have been the opposite of wasted, and all the resources and plans needed are finally ready for his command.
