Age: 45

Profession: Chief Constable
Family and History
Mother: Victoria —Nee Knightly—
Father: Rick
Siblings: Nope
Other family: A few nephews and cousins
Relationship with family: Vince hasn’t bothered to speak to what’s left of his family, and they haven’t spoken to him, in turn.
General History:
Vince was born into a family of moderate class. His father and his fathers were constables, his father being the first to become Chief Constable. Vince was raised to learn the ways of the law, and already began to see things in his own light. When he was sixteen, he became a Constable of normal but full rank. He began his own investigations, thinking he could learn more from the surroundings of a crime than others, one investigation he ‘lead’ caused the arrest of a man for murder. The man was a Noble, and lost all his honor. The man was eventually set free, when new facts showed him to be innocent. Vince had his rank stripped from him, and disgrace fell to his family. The man convicted, though released, had lost the respect he used to have. And, driven out of his own class, murdered both of Vince’s parents in his madness. Vince alive because the man thought the orders must of been approved by their chief, in order to accuse a man of superior rank.
After this, his family was given back their honor. And Vince was given back his rank, and became most likely to become Chief when he was older. After this, his work became his life. He didn’t think much of anything else, nor go out anymore. When he was only twenty-four, when he was given the rank of ‘Chief’, if not only because most members loved his father as a leader. Though he blames himself for the loss of his parents, instead of making his chief goal not to make another mistake again, he made it his goal to never let a potential problem go unseen. Believing his biggest mistake from the tragedy was that he hadn’t stopped the man before the murder. Instead of investigating crimes which already occurred, which he had done long ago, he then investigated potential crimes. Sometimes abusing his rank, and sometimes neglecting his duties of crimes already committed. Years passed, and he grew still darker and colder in character.
Ten years ago, he stumbled one a piece of seemingly invaluable evidence found from a street urchin. Though Vince wasn’t at first sure how much he could trust it, he soon found a chain of traces where the evidence lead. He became obsessed with the case, and many wondered if he had lost his senses. Many years past, and Vince found a privateer to be the most likely man to be behind it, though no evidence could be made against him; and, somehow being an admiral now, building a case against him wouldn’t be easy. During his strives to return order to London, his identity became too popular for him to do personal investigations, anymore. So, taking advantage of many people thinking he had lost it, he had the police department claim to strip him of his rank, saying he had abused his power. Now pretending to be on the streets without any authority, people were more comfortable saying things, even if they were only trying to provoke him; though the striping of his rank being faked his well-known to all in the Constable’s Department, even though they have a “new” Chief Constable who takes care of things Vince doesn’t have time for. Vince will also openly walk into the Constable’s Office, without any strife to hide it, thinking that all enemies of the law wouldn’t dare go near the building.
Personality Vince has a dark, determined, and prepared personality; and lacks many morals. He is cold, cool, and calm. He isn’t good at acting, only sometimes lying. He rarely makes jokes, and hardly laughs. He doesn’t trust anyone.
He sees himself at times as the only copper with sense. He will constantly take matters in his own hands, giving others direct orders, and has learned many copper’s respect, despite them seeing him as over the top. He doesn’t give attention to pit-pocketing, or any crimes of that rank at less he thinks their somehow connected to his main obsession. Concentrating on bigger problems, and always searching for great conspiracies. He’s come to love the monarchy, because he beliefs in their laws and establishments.
He now is obsessed and almost always thinks only of his main case, which he has been chasing-down for ten years. He believes Admiral Ince, the former privateer, is really in a league to disassemble the British Empire. However, though he has been tracking it for ten years, each part he’s been following has many holes in it. He is trying to patch-up those holes, and build a solid case to find all those in league. Alec knows Vince is after him, but thinks the constable has been stripped of his rank, so he assumes he was once again the victor. Vince sometimes considers just arresting Alec, even if it meant the risk of him getting out days later.

And he has short, blonde hair that looks almost grey in certain lights. He has no weapon, as he doesn’t need one anymore.
He sometimes can appear to be cold, and speaks with plain precision. He is always ready for a fight. He walks in a stride, is never seen tired, and he normally has one hand half-holding the side of his face while seated, never actually relaxing. This is also how he looks when in thought. He has no beard; always freshly shaven.
